How do I know a part fits my laptop?
Match the part number. Every listing shows compatible models and part numbers β check the sticker on your original part (keyboards and batteries have it on the back, screens on the rear of the panel). Not sure? Send us your laptop model and we'll match it for you β that's literally our job.
Are your parts tested?
Yes. Every part is tested before it leaves our Markham warehouse, and backed by our warranty (listed on each product page).
How fast is shipping?
Orders ship fast from Markham, Ontario β no overseas wait. Local customers can pick up the same day.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes β choose pickup at checkout. 500 Alden Rd, Unit 11, Markham, MonβFri 10:30 AM β 6:00 PM.
Repairs
How much does a repair cost?
Estimates are free. For advanced work (mainboard diagnosis, data recovery, liquid spills, dead laptops) there's a $49 diagnostic fee β and it's waived the moment you approve the repair.
How long does a screen replacement take?
Same day for most common models, because we stock the panels ourselves.
My laptop is "dead" β is it worth fixing?
Often yes. We do board-level repair β power circuits, liquid damage, charging circuits β the repairs most shops don't attempt.
Do you fix laptops bought on Amazon or Best Buy?
Yes, any device from any store, in or out of warranty.
Refurbished Computers
What does "refurbished" mean at Laptop King?
Professionally tested, securely wiped, imaged with Windows 11, and backed by a 1-year warranty. The exact specs (CPU, RAM, storage, OS) are listed on every unit.
